The tobacco industry continues to glamorize smoking and target the younger generation as they lose customers every day. Despite these efforts, some still fall into their trap. In response, Youth Action Network (YAN) has been conducting an annual campaign to raise awareness, especially on April 1st—Fool’s Day, under the theme “Wishing a Happy Birthday to the Few Who Still Smoke.”
This year also we are leaded up to April 1st, youth and volunteers across the country are running poster campaigns, urging the public to reflect on how smokers are still being fooled and to help change that, one life at a time.
