YAN Sri Lanka


Youth Action Network (YAN Sri Lanka) is an active youth network which spans island wide.

YAN Sri Lanka is a multi-cultural, multi lingual youth lead volunteer Organization in Sri Lanka. YAN was established on 10th June 2019 as the Youth wing of Alcohol and Drug information Centre (ADIC ) Sri Lanka.

YAN is led by young people between 15 to 29 with a grass root level network of leaders and volunteers who work towards alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention through activism in various aligned fields such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health (SRHR), Democracy, Human Rights, Peace Building and Gender Equality.

Youth are the most crucial population group in a country as they act as creative and innovative change makers, future leaders in different fields. It is vital youth is being empowered in order to build a better future.
