Many families in Sri Lanka are currently living in poverty due to the COVID 19 Pandemic

Alcohol and tobacco usage has a major impact on poverty in Sri Lanka. Poverty in families is increasing day by day due to the growing expenditure on alcohol and tobacco. During this COVID pandemic, we empowered people to reduce their alcohol and tobacco usage and directed them to spend the money on daily needs of their families. To this end, our youth network organized various programs on social media and at the village level.
