Action for environment protection

Supporting Sri Lanka to move towards the Sustainable Development Goals is a major objective of our Network. Based on the theme of climate action, our young people are active at different levels. Here, our young people carry out planting programs and other activities in their districts to clean the beautiful places of the environment as well as the places where the population is more numerous and to make arrangements to keep those places clean and tidy.

Under the theme ‘Life on Land’, our youth are active at various levels in planting and developing biodiversity in different parts of Sri Lanka. During the past year, we have been engaged in various activities such as planting trees all over Sri Lanka under the special programs such as Youth Day and YAN anniversary.
